This smoothie is not only a real eye-catcher, but also a power package for the day! I love how the different colors and flavors combine to form a harmonious whole. The ginger provides a pleasant spiciness, the bananas for sweetness and the berries for a fruity note. The cauliflower and spinach give the smoothie an extra portion of vitamins and fiber without affecting the taste. Perfect for a quick breakfast or as a healthy snack in between. About this recipe

This color game smoothie originated from a spirit of experimentation. I wanted to create a smoothie that was not only healthy, but also fun – both to prepare and to drink. The idea of combining different colors and flavors immediately thrilled me. And so this recipe was created, which has now become an integral part of my breakfast routine. The ingredients all play an important role. The ginger brings a pleasant spiciness and warmth to the smoothie, which harmonizes perfectly with the sweetness of the bananas. The orange and lemon provide a fruity acidity that refreshes the smoothie. The frozen cauliflower may seem unusual at first, but it makes the smoothie creamy and provides valuable nutrients without dominating the taste. The chia seeds are not only a superfood, but also bind liquid and ensure a pleasant consistency. The soy drink serves as a base and makes the smoothie nice and creamy. The frozen spinach provides the green color and provides an extra portion of vitamins. And the blueberries are the icing on the cake, giving the smoothie its bright purple color and a fruity sweetness. When preparing in the Thermomix®, it is important to add the ingredients in the correct order. Start with the firmer ingredients such as ginger and cauliflower so that they are well chopped. Make sure that the orange and lemon are well peeled so that no bitter peel residue gets into the smoothie. If you like the smoothie a little sweeter, you can add some maple syrup or agave syrup. The pureeing times may vary depending on the performance of your Thermomix®. Make sure that the smoothie is nice and creamy before filling it into glasses. The color game smoothie can be varied wonderfully. For an even creamier consistency, you can add some avocado. If you prefer it a little spicier, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom. Instead of soy drink, you can also use almond milk, oat milk or coconut milk. And of course you can also use other fruits and berries, depending on what is in season or what you like best. Serve the smoothie immediately after preparation so that the colors shine nicely. But you can also keep it in the refrigerator for a short time. If you want to prepare the smoothie, you can put the ingredients in the mixing bowl the night before and puree it the next morning. A few nuts or seeds that you can sprinkle over the smoothie go well as a side dish. Or you can serve it with a piece of wholemeal bread or a muesli. The smoothie can be stored in the refrigerator for about 24 hours. However, the color may change over time. If you want to store the smoothie for longer, you can also freeze it. Fill it into ice cube molds or freezer bags and thaw it again if necessary.
