Description

This savory bell pepper goulash soup is true comfort food for cold days! I especially like to make it when I'm in the mood for something hearty with a pleasant spiciness. The goulash is cooked until tender and the bell pepper provides a fruity note. The soup is then perfectly rounded off with a dollop of sour cream. The preparation is super easy and doesn't take long, making it ideal for a quick lunch or dinner. An absolute must for all soup lovers!

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 200 g Goulash mixed
  • 1 kleine Onion, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp Oil or Butter
  • 2 clove Garlic, pressed
  • 1 kleine Bell pepper, diced
  • 0.5 Liter Meat broth
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 kl. Dose Corn kernels
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Chili powder
  • to taste Paprika powder hot
  • 2 tbsp Cayenne pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Sear goulash

Sear 200 g of goulash mixed in a pan with a little oil and then set aside.

Chop onion

Place 1 small onion, finely diced, in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onion

Add 1 tbsp of oil or butter to the mixing bowl and sauté the chopped onion for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add garlic and bell pepper

Add 2 cloves of garlic, pressed, and 1 small bell pepper, diced, to the onions in the mixing bowl.

Add goulash and broth

Add the fried goulash meat to the mixing bowl. Add 0.5 liters of meat broth and 1 tbsp of tomato paste.

Cook soup

Let the soup cook for 40 min./100°C/speed 1.

Add corn and bring to a boil

Add 1 small can of corn kernels and bring to a boil for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

2 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Season the soup with salt, pepper, 2 tbsp of cayenne pepper, chili powder and hot paprika powder and heat for another 2 min./100°C/speed 1.
