Description

This couscous with vegetables and merguez is a tasty and comforting dish, perfect for a Sunday lunch or a convivial dinner. Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 0.5 packet of spices for couscous
  • 400 ml of water
  • 300 ml of semolina
  • 30 ml of oil
  • 300 ml of water
  • Of salt
  • 0.5 can of drained chickpeas
  • 2 piece carrots peeled and cut into pieces
  • 2 piece small zucchini cut into pieces
  • 4 piece merguez cut into 4
  • 2 piece turkey breasts cut into pieces
  • 15 ml of tomato sauce

Preparation (5 steps)

Preparation of the broth and vegetables

Pour 400 ml of water into the Thermomix bowl. Add 1/2 sachet of spices for couscous and salt. Place the 2 peeled and cut carrots, the 2 small zucchini cut into pieces and 1/2 can of drained chickpeas in the Varoma. Add the 4 merguez cut into 4 and the 2 turkey breasts cut into pieces in the Varoma.

Cooking the broth and vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Close the Varoma and place it on the Thermomix. Cook 15 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Preparation of the couscous

Remove the Varoma. Pour 300 ml of water, 30 ml of oil and salt into the Thermomix bowl. Add 300 ml of semolina to the cooking basket.

Cooking the couscous

15 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place the cooking basket in the Thermomix. Put the Varoma back on the Thermomix and cook 15 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Assembly of the couscous

Remove the Varoma and the cooking basket. Pour the couscous into a dish and separate it with a fork. Pour the contents of the Varoma and the Thermomix bowl into another dish. Add 15 ml of tomato sauce and mix gently.
