Description

This creamy rice with prawns is a dish that evokes memories of family meals by the sea. The combination of bomba rice, fresh prawns and aromatic sofrito make it an unforgettable culinary experience. Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 80 g Yellow pepper
  • 80 g Green pepper
  • 100 g Onion
  • 50 g Tomato sauce
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 200 g Bomba rice
  • 80 g Cooked bobby round green beans
  • 8 piece Prawns
  • 400 ml Fish stock or fumet
  • Salt

Preparation of the garlics

We peel the garlic cloves (2 units) and introduce them in the Thermomix glass. We program 3 seconds at speed 7 to finely chop them.

Preparation of the vegetables

We add to the glass the yellow pepper (80 g), the green pepper (80 g) and the onion (100 g), previously washed, without seeds and cut into pieces. We program 4 seconds at speed 5 to chop the vegetables.

Sofrito of the vegetables

We add extra virgin olive oil to the glass until covering the base. We program 8 minutes, temperature 120°C and speed 1 to fry the vegetables.

Add the tomato sauce

We incorporate the tomato sauce (50 g) to the glass and we program 2 minutes, temperature 120°C and speed 1. We season with salt to taste.

Incorporate the rice

We add the bomba rice (200 g) to the glass and we program 2 minutes, temperature 120°C and speed 1. This will help the rice to be impregnated with the flavors of the sofrito.

Add the stock

We pour the fish stock or fumet (400 ml, double the volume of the rice) into the glass. We program 8 minutes, temperature 100°C and speed 1.

Final cooking of the rice

We add the cooked round green beans (80 g) and the prawns (8 units) to the glass. We program 7 minutes, temperature 100°C, speed 1 and left turn function (Linkslauf).

Rest and serve

We check the point of the rice. If necessary, we program a few more minutes at the same temperature and speed. We let the rice rest for a few minutes before serving.
