Description

This feta cream is a delicious and simple spread that is ideal as a dip or spread. The cream is prepared with feta cheese, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, rosemary and olive oil. With the Thermomix® the preparation is quick and easy. The feta cream is vegetarian and can be refined with milk or water as desired. Ideal as a starter or finger food.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 200 g Feta cheese (sheep's or cow's milk)
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 1 Stück Clove(s) of garlic
  • 2 EL Parsley, fresh, smooth
  • 0.5 Zweig/e Rosemary
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 0.125 Stück Bell pepper(s), red (alternative
  • 0.5 TL Tomato paste)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Milk or water as needed

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare ingredients

Add 200 g feta cheese and 200 g cream cheese to the mixing bowl.

Chop garlic

Add 1 clove of garlic and chop for 3 sec./level 7.

Add herbs

Add 2 tbsp parsley and ½ sprig rosemary.

Prepare cream

Add 2 tbsp olive oil and ⅛ bell pepper (or ½ tsp tomato paste). Season with salt and pepper and stir for 20 sec./level 4.

Adjust consistency

If necessary, add some milk or water and stir for 5 sec./level 3 until the desired consistency is reached.

Froth milk (optional)

For a particularly creamy consistency, add 100 ml of milk or plant-based drink to the mixing bowl with the Milkix instead of the mixing knife and froth for 1 min./level 3.5.
