Description

This avocado cream is a real wild card in the kitchen! I often prepare it when I have unexpected guests or simply want a fresh and light dressing for pasta. The base is obviously the avocado, which must be ripe enough to guarantee a velvety consistency. Lemon juice adds a tangy note that balances the creaminess of the avocado, while white yogurt makes it even lighter and more digestible. Perfect for stuffing croutons, accompanying raw vegetables or dressing a salad. If you prepare it in advance, keep it in the refrigerator for an hour: it will firm up slightly and be even better!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Avocado
  • 1 container White yogurt
  • 1 piece Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Fine salt

Preparation (4 steps)

Avocado preparation

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit with a spoon. Cut the pulp with a pointed knife, forming cubes. With the help of a spoon, extract the avocado cubes.

Blend the avocado

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 8

Put the avocado cubes in the Thermomix bowl. Add the juice of a lemon, a pinch of fine salt and blend for 10 Sec./Stufe 8.

Add the yogurt

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 6

Add the white yogurt to the bowl and blend for 20 Sek./Stufe 6, until you get a velvety cream.

Cool the cream

Transfer the avocado cream to the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow it to firm up.
