Description

This apple cream with vanilla is a wonderfully simple dessert that tastes particularly good in autumn. I like to make it when I have a lot of apples and want to conjure up something delicious from them. The apples are cooked until soft and processed with vanilla pudding to a creamy delicacy. The lemon juice gives the cream a fresh note. Perfect as a sweet ending after a hearty meal or just in between. The preparation is very easy and is guaranteed to succeed! If you like, you can add some cinnamon.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 350 g Apples (e.g. Boskoop)
  • 500 ml Apple juice
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Sugar to taste
  • 37 g Vanilla pudding powder

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare apples

Peel 350 g apples, remove the stem and core. Then cut the apples into small cubes and set aside.

Heat apple juice

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add 450 ml apple juice, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp sugar (to taste) to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

Cook apples

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Add the diced apples and simmer for 10 min./90°C/gentle stir setting/reverse, until they are soft.

Stir pudding powder

In a small bowl, stir 1 pack. vanilla pudding powder (37 g) with the remaining 50 ml apple juice until no lumps remain.

Finish pudding

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add the stirred pudding powder to the apples in the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./100°C/speed 2.

Cool and serve

Pour the apple pudding into dessert glasses and refrigerate for about 3 hours. Decorate as desired before serving.
