Description

This creamy chicken with mushrooms is a comforting and tasty dish, perfect for a dinner with family or friends. The marinade made with mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and curry gives a unique flavor to the meat, while the fresh cream and mushrooms bring a smooth and delicious texture. I have been preparing this dish for years and it is always a hit. Accompanied by rice, it is a complete and delicious meal. The preparation is simple and quick, ideal for weeknights. Feel free to add other vegetables such as peppers or zucchini for a more complete version.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Chicken
  • 1 can Mushrooms
  • 1 can Fresh cream
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 1 c. à soupe Mayonnaise
  • 1 c. à soupe Ketchup
  • 1 c. à soupe Mustard
  • 1 c. à café Curry
  • 1 piece Lemon juice
  • 1 noisette Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Marinade preparation

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

In the Thermomix bowl, add 1 tbsp of mayonnaise, 1 tbsp of mustard, 1 tbsp of ketchup, the juice of 1 lemon, 4 cloves of garlic and 1 tsp of curry. Salt and pepper to your taste. Mix everything for 10 Sek./Stufe 4.

Chicken marinade

Pour the marinade into a bowl and add the chicken pieces. Mix well so that the chicken is completely covered with marinade. Let stand in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Oven chicken cooking

Preheat the oven to 180°C (th. 6). Drain the chicken and place it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes.

Mushroom sauce preparation

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/122°F/Speed 1 50

While the chicken is cooking, put a knob of butter in the Thermomix bowl. Melt for 2 Min./50°C/Stufe 1.

Mushroom cooking

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add 1 can of drained mushrooms in the Thermomix bowl. Salt and pepper. Cook for 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 2.

Adding fresh cream

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Pour 1 can of fresh cream in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Assembly and service

At the end of the chicken cooking, check that there is no more cooking water. Mix the mushroom sauce to the chicken. Serve hot with rice.
