Description

This creamy chicken with poblano peppers is a dish that I often prepare at home. It is incredibly easy to make and is always a success, especially when I serve it with white rice or mashed potatoes. The combination of the creaminess of the milk and cream with the slightly spicy touch of the poblano peppers is simply delicious. In addition, it is a very economical recipe, perfect for those days when you don't want to spend a lot but do want to eat well. Go ahead and try it, you will love it!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken breasts
  • 4 piece Poblano pepper
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 can Mushrooms
  • 3 cube Chicken broth
  • 0.5 can Cream
  • 0.5 litro Fresh milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 chorro Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop the onion

Place one unit of onion in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3 seconds at speed 5.

Sauté the onion and peppers

Add the poblano peppers cut into strips to the Thermomix bowl along with the chopped onion. Program 5 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Add the chicken broth

2 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Incorporate 3 crumbled chicken broth cubes into the bowl. Program 2 minutes at 100°C at speed 1 so that they dissolve.

Cook the creamy sauce

Pour ½ can of cream and ½ liter of fresh milk into the bowl. Cook for 5 minutes at 90°C at speed 2.

Incorporate the mushrooms and chicken

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/194°F/Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add 1 can of sliced mushrooms and 4 cooked and shredded chicken breasts to the bowl. Program 1 minute at 90°C at speed 1 with reverse (Linkslauf).

Add the Worcestershire sauce and season

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of salt to the bowl. Cook for 2 minutes at 90°C at speed 1 with reverse (Linkslauf).
