Description

This creamy chicken with mushrooms in white sauce is a comforting and delicious dish, perfect for a family meal or a special dinner. The combination of tender chicken, sauteed mushrooms and a creamy béchamel sauce makes it an irresistible dish. I often prepare it in autumn and winter, when you want something warm and tasty. The recipe is very simple and can be adapted to your tastes, adding other vegetables or spices. A dish that always triumphs!

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 4 pieza Chicken leg
  • 250 gramos Mushrooms
  • 0.5 bunch Parsley
  • 2 pinch Whole oregano
  • 100 gramos Chives
  • 1 chorro Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch Salt to taste
  • 2 vasos Milk
  • 8 cucharadas soperas Wheat flour
  • 8 cucharadas soperas Butter
  • 2 cucharaditas Nutmeg
  • 2 pinch Salt

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop chives and parsley

Thermomix® Setting

Place 100 grams of chives and ½ bunch of parsley in the Thermomix bowl. Chop for 5 seconds at speed 5. Remove and reserve.

Marinate the chicken

Season 4 pieces of chicken leg with salt and pepper to taste. Spread each piece well with the spices. Reserve.

Sear the chicken in the pan

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown on the outside. Remove and reserve.

Mushroom stir-fry

5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

In the Thermomix bowl, add 250 grams of quartered mushrooms, the chopped chives and parsley, 2 pinches of whole oregano, a pinch of pepper and salt to taste. Program 5 minutes, temperature 120°C, speed 1.

Add the chicken to the stir-fry

Add the seared chicken pieces to the Thermomix bowl with the mushroom stir-fry. Mix gently with the spatula.

Prepare the béchamel sauce

12 min/194°F/Speed 4 90

In the clean Thermomix bowl, pour 2 glasses of milk, 8 tablespoons of wheat flour, 8 tablespoons of butter, 2 teaspoons of nutmeg and 2 pinches of salt. Program 12 minutes, 90°C, speed 4.

Mix the chicken with the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Pour the béchamel sauce over the chicken and mushrooms in the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently with the spatula. Program 2 minutes, 90°C, speed 1, Linkslauf.
