Tired of the usual lasagna? Try this delicious alternative with crêpes! A rich and creamy dish, perfect for a family dinner or a special evening. The combination of meat sauce with homemade béchamel and light crêpes creates an explosion of flavors. I often prepare it when I want to pamper my loved ones with something different and tasty. The preparation takes a little time, but the result is guaranteed! Ideal for those who love traditional flavors revisited in a modern key. A true comfort food!

Ingredients (24 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Crêpes
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 500 g Tomato purée
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 bicchiere Dry white wine
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Carrot
  • 1 costa Celery
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 50 g Butter
  • 50 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 200 g Mozzarella
  • 100 g Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 5 foglia Basil
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 250 ml Milk (for the crêpes)
  • 1 piece Egg (for the crêpes)
  • 125 g Flour (for the crêpes)
  • 1 tbsp Seed oil (for the crêpes)
  • 1 pinch Salt (for the crêpes)

Preparation of the crêpes

Prepare the crêpes according to your favorite recipe. Alternatively, mix 250 ml of milk, 1 egg, 125 g of flour, 1 tablespoon of seed oil and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix well until you get a smooth batter. Cook the crêpes in a non-stick pan lightly greased with butter.

Preparation of the sautéed vegetables

Put 1 onion, 1 carrot and 1 celery stick in the bowl. Chop for 5 Sec./Speed 5.

Brown the sautéed vegetables

Cooking the meat sauce

Add 500 g of ground beef and brown in a pan over medium heat until golden brown. Deglaze with half a glass of dry white wine and let it evaporate. Add the tomato purée, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Assembly of the lasagna

In a baking dish, spread a layer of béchamel, then arrange a layer of crêpes, a layer of meat sauce, cubed mozzarella, grated Parmigiano Reggiano and a few basil leaves. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up. Finish with a layer of béchamel and grated Parmigiano Reggiano.

Baking in the oven

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes, or until the surface is golden brown.
