Description

These American pancakes are a classic for breakfast or snack. The recipe is very simple and quick to prepare with the Thermomix®. The key to make them fluffy is to beat the egg well and let the dough rest for a few minutes in the freezer. I often make them for my children and they are always a success. They can be accompanied with maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream or whatever you like best. Go ahead and try them, you will love them! They are perfect for a weekend brunch or a sweet treat.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 container milk
  • 1 container flour
  • 1 cucharada virgin olive oil
  • 1 cucharada baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 piece egg

Preparation (5 steps)

Beat the egg

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Place the egg in the Thermomix bowl and beat for 20 seconds/Speed 4.

Add ingredients and mix

30 sec/Speed 3

Add the glass of milk, the glass of flour, the tablespoon of virgin olive oil, the generous tablespoon of baking powder, the pinch of salt and the tablespoon of vanilla sugar to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 30 seconds/Speed 3.

Cool the dough

Pour the dough into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.

Cook the pancakes

Heat a small frying pan over medium heat. Grease the pan with a little butter using kitchen paper. Pour a large spoonful of dough into the pan and spread it lightly. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then turn and brown on the other side.

Serve

Serve the hot pancakes with your favorite ingredients.
