Description

These crispy chicken bites are a family favorite! I've been making them for years, and they always disappear quickly. The secret is in the garlic salt and pepper seasoning, which gives them a delicious savory flavor. Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • vegetable oil
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 3 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 8 piece skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into small chunks

Prepare the Flour Mixture

Thermomix® Setting

Add 4 cups all-purpose flour, 6 tablespoons garlic salt, and 3 tablespoons ground black pepper to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4 to combine the ingredients thoroughly. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.

Prepare the Chicken

Cut 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves into small, bite-sized chunks. Place the chicken chunks in a bowl. In a separate bowl, beat 4 large eggs.

Coat the Chicken

Dip each chicken piece into the beaten eggs, then press it into the flour mixture to coat well. Shake off any excess flour. Place the coated chicken pieces onto a plate.

Fry the Chicken

Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet or saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Working in batches, fry the chicken in the hot oil until golden brown and no longer pink in the center. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

Serve

Remove the fried chicken from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve immediately and enjoy!
