Description

These spicy minced meat crescents are a real eye-catcher at any party! I always like to make them because they are so easy to prepare and taste super delicious. The filling of minced meat, kidney beans, corn and spices is nice and spicy, and the cheese sour cream makes the whole thing wonderfully juicy. Perfect as finger food or a small snack for in between. Preparation with the Thermomix® is child's play and saves time. If you like it a little spicier, you can add a few more chili flakes. An absolute must for anyone who likes it hearty!

Ingredients (19 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Garlic cloves
  • 1 can Kidney beans
  • 300 g Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 400 g Ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Marjoram
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • to taste Sweet paprika
  • to taste Chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 can Sweetcorn
  • 100 g Gouda cheese
  • 100 g Sour cream
  • 1 piece Egg (Gr. M)
  • to taste Marjoram for garnish
  • to taste Flour for work surface

Chop onion and garlic

Put onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. Add garlic and chop for another 3 sec./level 7.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 2 tbsp oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Fry ground beef

Add 400 g ground beef, 1 tbsp marjoram, salt, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar, sweet paprika and chili flakes and fry for 5 min./120°C/level 2. Use a spatula to distribute the ground beef.

Add tomatoes and beans

Add corn and season

Add 1 can (212 ml) sweetcorn and stir in for 1 min./100°C/reverse level 1. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, paprika and chili.

Grate cheese

Put 100 g Gouda cheese in pieces into the mixing bowl and grate for 10 sec./level 6. Transfer.

Prepare cheese-sour cream

Mix grated cheese and 100 g sour cream in a bowl.

Separate egg and prepare

Separate 1 egg (Gr. M). Whisk egg white with a fork. Whisk egg yolk with 2 tbsp water.

Prepare dough

Unroll dough and cut lengthwise in half. Cut each strip of dough into 3 rectangles (approx. 12 x 12.5 cm). Place pieces of dough next to each other on a lightly floured work surface.

Fill crescents

Spread minced meat mixture diagonally in the middle, so that the free dough corners can be folded over like a bag. Fold one corner over the minced meat mixture, spread egg white approx. 1.5 cm wide on the dough edge. Fold the other edge of the dough over it and press lightly.

Top and bake crescents

Carefully place crescents on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush dough with egg yolk. Spread cheese-sour cream with a tablespoon on the visible minced meat mixture. Let it run a little over the dough. Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 20–25 minutes.

Arrange and serve

Remove from the oven, arrange, garnish with marjoram. Barbecue sauce tastes good with it.
