Description

This turkey curry with coconut milk is a delicious and simple main course that is ready in about 40 minutes. The dish is designed for 4 servings and is ideal for a quick lunch or dinner. It combines tender turkey with aromatic spices and creamy coconut milk. The addition of fresh vegetables such as peppers, leek, mushrooms and sugar snap peas makes the curry particularly rich in vitamins and filling.

  • 300 g Turkey meat
  • 250 g Onions
  • 2 Stück Cloves Garlic
  • 40 g Oil
  • 2 EL Curry paste
  • 1 Stück red Pepper
  • 1 Stück yellow Pepper
  • 100 g Mushrooms
  • 400 ml Coconut milk
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 TL Curry
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onions and garlic

Add 250g onions to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add 2 cloves of garlic and chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Add 40g oil to the chopped onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add curry paste

Add 2 tbsp curry paste to the sautéed onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 1 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add and chop vegetables

Add 1 leek cut into rings, 1 red pepper in pieces, 1 yellow pepper in pieces, 100g mushrooms in slices and 100g sugar snap peas to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4.

Sauté vegetables

Sauté the chopped vegetables in the mixing bowl for 5 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add liquids and spices

Add 400ml coconut milk, 100ml vegetable broth, 1 tsp curry, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp coriander, 1/4 tsp chili powder, salt and pepper to taste to the mixing bowl and simmer for 10 min./100°C/speed 1.

Fry turkey meat

Cut 300g turkey meat into bite-sized pieces and fry in a separate pan with some oil until cooked.

Add turkey meat and finish

Add the fried turkey meat to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./100°C/reverse speed 1. Serve with rice.
