Description

These hearty herb dough pieces from the Thermomix® are a delicious finger food with flour, herb mixture and onion powder. The preparation takes about 40 minutes and yields 20 servings. Ideal as a vegetarian snack for parties, for breakfast or as a hearty appetizer. Especially suitable for those who love simple and tasty recipes. The fresh herbs provide an appealing decoration.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 150 g Flour
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 TL Onion powder
  • 2 TL dried herb mixture
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 100 g Margarine
  • Fresh herbs for decoration

Preparation (6 steps)

Mix dry ingredients

Put 150 g flour, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp onion powder and 2 tsp dried herb mixture into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 4.

Prepare dough

Separate the egg, the egg white is needed later. Add the egg yolk and 100 g margarine to the flour mixture in the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading level to a smooth dough.

Shape and prepare dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and form a ball with your hands. Preheat the oven to 180 °C circulating air (top/bottom heat: 200 °C). Sort and prepare the fresh herbs.

Roll out and shape dough

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to about 0.5 cm thick. Use a glass or a round cutter to cut out the dough pieces.

Top dough pieces

Brush the dough pieces with a little egg white and top with herbs as desired. To do this, apply the herbs evenly and smooth them carefully.

Bake herb dough pieces

Then spread the herb dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown.
