Description

This chocolate mousse is a simple and quick delight to prepare, perfect for a sweet craving or an impromptu dessert. I love its light and airy texture, obtained thanks to the egg whites beaten until stiff. The intense dark chocolate gives it a rich and deep flavor. Ideal for ending a meal on a sweet note or for a little sweetness in the middle of the day. It is particularly appreciated during the end of year celebrations or for a birthday. Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 4 c à s sugar
  • 4 piece eggs
  • 4 barres dark chocolate

Melt the chocolate

Break the 4 bars of dark chocolate into pieces and place them in the Thermomix bowl. Melt for 4 Min./50°C/Stufe 2.

Separate the yolks and egg whites

Break the 4 eggs and gently separate the yolks from the whites. Reserve the whites in a clean, dry container.

Mix the egg yolks and sugar

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add the 4 tbsp of sugar to the egg yolks in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4 until the mixture whitens slightly.

Beat the egg whites until stiff

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/Speed 3.5

Insert the whisk into the Thermomix bowl. Add the egg whites and beat until stiff for 3 Min./Stufe 3.5.

Incorporate the melted chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Remove the whisk. Add the melted chocolate to the egg yolk/sugar mixture in the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently for 10 Sek./Linkslauf Stufe 2.

Incorporate the egg whites

Gently add the beaten egg whites to the chocolate mixture in the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently with a spatula so as not to break the whites.

Distribute and refrigerate

Pour everything into a large dish or small individual ramekins. Leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
