Description

This pork tenderloin with roasted peppers and garlic butter is a hearty dish that is wonderful for a relaxed dinner. The tender tenderloin is refined with aromatic garlic butter and served together with colorful peppers and onions. The preparation is straightforward and succeeds in no time with the Thermomix®. I like to do it when things have to be quick, but something special should still come to the table. French fries or a fresh salad go well with it.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Pork tenderloin (approx. 600 g)
  • 70 g Garlic butter
  • 500 g Frozen french fries
  • 500 g colorful bell peppers (3 pieces; e.g. green, yellow and red)
  • 4 Stiele Parsley
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 piece Onions

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop onions

Peel and quarter the onions and put them in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Prepare peppers

Quarter the peppers, remove the seeds, wash and cut into pieces. Set aside.

Sear tenderloin

Pat the tenderloin dry. Heat oil in a pan. Sear the tenderloin vigorously on all sides for 2–3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and place on a large sheet of aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set the pan with the frying fat aside.

Prepare garlic butter

Cut the garlic butter into pieces and cover the tenderloin with it. Wrap the tenderloin in foil or parchment paper and place on one side of a baking sheet. Spread the french fries on the free space on the baking sheet.

Preheat and bake oven

Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/convection oven: 180 °C) for approx. 25 minutes. Remove the tenderloin from the oven after approx. 12 minutes. Turn the french fries once.

Melt garlic butter

Unwrap the tenderloin from the foil, pour the liquid garlic butter into the pan set aside and heat. Wrap the tenderloin again and let it rest.

Fry peppers and onions

Fry the peppers and onions vigorously in the hot butter for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Chop parsley

Wash the parsley, shake dry and put it in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 8.

Arrange

Arrange everything. Sprinkle with parsley. Drizzle the tenderloin with some garlic butter from the pan.
