Description

Savory spätzle with ham and cheese is a hearty main course from the Thermomix® that is prepared with just a few ingredients such as cooked ham, spätzle and cheese. The small red onion adds a special touch. The recipe is ideal for student cuisine and can be prepared quickly. In just 35 minutes, 2 servings are ready.   • 1 Stück small red onion
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 2 EL Butter
  • 500 g Spätzle
  • 200 g cream
  • 2 EL chopped parsley
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • nach Geschmack Nutmeg
  • 100 g grated cheese

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop the onion

Place a small red onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula.

Sauté the onions

Add 2 tbsp of butter to the chopped onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add 200 g of diced cooked ham to the onions in the mixing bowl and stir in for 2 min./120°C/reverse blade speed 1.

Add Spätzle

3 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add 500 g of spätzle from the refrigerated section to the mixing bowl and stir in for 3 min./100°C/reverse blade speed 1.

Add cream and parsley

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add 200 g of cream (whipping cream or cooking cream) and 2 tbsp of chopped parsley to the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./90°C/reverse blade speed 1.

Season and add cheese

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/140°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 60 Reverse

Season everything with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add 100 g of grated cheese (e.g. Gouda) to the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./60°C/reverse blade speed 1 until the cheese has melted.
