Description

This chicken piccata dish is a classic Italian recipe that is easily prepared with the Thermomix®. Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 8 piece chicken breast fillets
  • 4 tbsp wheat flour
  • 2 piece lemons
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 150 ml white wine
  • 500 ml broth
  • 1 bote capers
  • 2 clove garlics
  • 1 chorro olive oil
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare the chicken

Salt and pepper the chicken breast fillets to taste. Place the wheat flour on a plate and pass the meat through it to lightly coat it. Set aside.

Brown the chicken

In a frying pan, add a splash of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. When hot, brown the chicken fillets on both sides. Remove and set aside.

Chop the garlic

Peel the garlic cloves. Put the garlic cloves in the Thermomix® bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 7.

Sauté the garlic

Add a splash of olive oil to the Thermomix® bowl along with the chopped garlic. Sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add the white wine and broth

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Pour the white wine into the Thermomix® bowl and program 4 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1, without the measuring cup, so that the alcohol evaporates. Squeeze the lemons and add part of the juice (reserve the rest) together with the broth. Program 10 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Incorporate the chicken and capers

4 min/194°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Incorporate the browned chicken fillets into the Thermomix® bowl. Add the capers and 1-2 tablespoons of butter. Program 4 Min./90°C/Stufe 1/Left rotation.

Thicken the sauce (optional)

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 2/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

If the sauce is too liquid, dissolve a tablespoon of wheat flour in a little water and add it to the Thermomix® bowl. Program 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 2/Left rotation.

Serve

Serve the chicken piccata on a platter with the sauce and add a handful more of capers. Optionally, add a little more lemon juice to taste.
