Description
This fresh salad is an explosion of flavors and textures. The combination of crunchy lettuce, tart green apples, sweet strawberries and soft panela cheese is simply delicious. The chopped walnut adds a crunchy touch that perfectly complements the sweet mustard dressing. I often prepare it in summer, because it is light, refreshing and very easy to make. Also, it can be ready in less than 20 minutes! It is ideal for a quick lunch, a light dinner or as an accompaniment to a barbecue. If you want to give it an extra touch, you can add a few chopped fresh mint leaves. You will love it!
Ingredients (8 ingredients)

1 piece disinfected romaine lettuce

2 piece washed green apples
-
200 gramos washed and disinfected strawberry

5 cucharadas sugar
-
100 gramos chopped walnut

200 gramos panela cheese
-
8 cucharadas mustard
-
5 cucharadas oil
Preparation (7 steps)
Prepare the lettuce
Wash and disinfect the romaine lettuce. Cut the lettuce into medium pieces and reserve.
Prepare the fruits
Wash the green apples and strawberries. Slice the strawberries and cut the apples into wedges. Reserve.
Prepare the cheese
Cut the panela cheese into small squares. Reserve.
Prepare the dressing
Put the mustard and sugar in the Thermomix bowl. Mix 20 sec./Stufe 3.
Emulsify the dressing
With the Thermomix on Stufe 3, add the oil little by little during 30 sec./Stufe 3 until obtaining a sauce consistency.
Mix the salad
In a large bowl, put the lettuce pieces, apple wedges, strawberries, panela cheese and chopped walnut. Mix gently.
Serve the salad
Serve the salad accompanied by the sweet mustard dressing.
