Description

This potato and green bean salad is a simple and refreshing dish, perfect for hot days. The combination of tender potatoes, crunchy green beans and canned tuna creates an explosion of flavors in every bite. I often prepare it in summer, as it is very easy to make and can be enjoyed both cold and at room temperature. In addition, it is a healthy and nutritious option for a light meal or as a side dish. Go ahead and try it, you will love it! You can add a boiled egg to make it even more complete.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 1 bunch Green beans
  • 1 can Tuna
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 2 piece Potatoes

Preparation (4 steps)

Cook the potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Fill the glass with 1 liter of water and add a pinch of salt. Peel and cut the potatoes into medium pieces. Place the potatoes in the simmering basket and insert it into the glass. Program 25 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Add the green beans

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Wash, peel and cut the green beans. Add the green beans to the simmering basket along with the potatoes. Program 10 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Drain and mix

Remove the simmering basket with the help of the spatula and drain the potatoes and green beans well. Pour the potatoes and green beans into a bowl. Add vinegar, oil and a can of drained tuna. Mix gently.

Add pepper

Add black pepper to taste and mix again. Serve immediately or refrigerate to enjoy cold.
