Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 160 g Flour
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 2 Stück Egg yolks
  • 100 g Soft butter
  • 3 Packungen Toffifee
  • 3 Stück Egg whites
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 150 g Sugar

Preparation (9 steps)

Mix flour, sugar and salt

Place 160 g flour, 60 g sugar and 1 pinch of salt in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4.

Prepare the dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add 2 egg yolks and 100 g soft butter to the flour mixture in the mixing bowl. Knead with the Patix dough blade for 2 min/knead setting to form a homogeneous dough.

Chill the dough

Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 150 °C fan (170°C top/bottom heat).

Roll out and cut out the dough

After chilling, roll out the dough to approx. 0.5 cm thick on a lightly floured surface and cut out circles. The circles should be a little bigger than a Toffifee.

Cover the dough circles

Place the dough circles on baking trays lined with baking paper and place a Toffifee (or alternatively a piece of chocolate) with the top side down on each circle.

Whisk egg whites until stiff

Thermomix® Setting

Place 3 egg whites and 1 pinch of salt in the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly whisk and whisk until stiff for 3 min/speed 3.5. Gradually sprinkle in 150 g sugar.

Pipe on the meringue

Fill the meringue into a piping bag with a large nozzle and pipe small peaks over the Toffifees.

Bake fairy kisses

Now bake the fairy kisses for about 18-20 minutes. Then let them cool completely.
