Description

These cream slices are a delicious dessert made from puff pastry, vanilla pudding, whipped cream and gelatin. The pudding is refined with rum and mixed with stiffly beaten whipped cream. The slices are ideal for festive occasions and taste particularly good when chilled. Preparation takes about an hour and yields 16 servings.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 piece Puff pastry
  • 4 B Whipped cream
  • 12 Bl Gelatin
  • 0.5 VZ Rum
  • Sugar
  • 1 piece Vanilla pudding
  • 1.5 l Milk

Preparation (6 steps)

Bake puff pastry

Bake the puff pastry lightly and prick it with a fork. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 20 minutes.

Cook pudding

Prepare 1 vanilla pudding with 1121 ml milk according to the package instructions in the Thermomix. Add rum to taste and sweeten. Stir for 15 sec./speed 3.

Stir in gelatin

Prepare 12 sheets of gelatin according to the package instructions and stir into the cold pudding. 15 sec./speed 3

Fold in whipped cream

Beat 4 cups of whipped cream with icing sugar until stiff and fold into the pudding. 3 min./level 3.5 with butterfly

Finish cream slices

Pour the cream onto a puff pastry base, place the second puff pastry base on top and cut into pieces approx. 4.5 cm wide.
