125 g Sweet cream butter
1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
100 g Pearl sugar

Prepare the dough

Place 1 egg (room temperature), 200 g wheat flour Type 405, 125 g sweet cream butter and 1 packet of vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and process for 2 min./kneading level to form a shortcrust pastry. If necessary, add water by the tablespoon until a smooth dough is formed.

Shape the dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and form into a roll on a lightly floured work surface. Cut small pieces (approx. 10g) from the roll and roll them into thin snakes. Shape the snakes into small pretzels and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
