Description

These chicken flutes are a classic of Mexican cuisine, and with the Thermomix® they are even easier to prepare! The combination of juicy chicken and crispy tortillas is simply irresistible. I often make them for parties or informal dinners with friends. They can be prepared in advance and fried just before serving. Accompany them with your favorite sauce, sour cream, grated cheese and a fresh salad. A complete and delicious dish that always triumphs! If you want to give it an extra touch, add a little chopped chili to the filling. Enjoy!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 500 gramos Corn tortilla
  • 300 gramos Cooked chicken
  • 100 gramos Lettuce
  • 100 gramos Onion
  • 100 gramos Sour cream
  • 100 gramos Cheese to taste
  • 1 bote Sauce to taste
  • 1 litro Vegetable oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare the ingredients

Wash and prepare all the ingredients: the shredded cooked chicken, the finely chopped lettuce, the chopped onion, the sour cream and the grated cheese. Set aside.

Heat the oil

Pour 1 liter of vegetable oil into a pan and heat over medium heat. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Soften the tortillas

Pass each corn tortilla briefly through the hot oil to soften them. This facilitates rolling. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Fill and roll the flutes

Place a portion of shredded cooked chicken on each softened tortilla and roll up tightly. Secure each flute with a toothpick to prevent them from opening during frying. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Fry the flutes

Fry the filled flutes in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, turning them every two minutes to ensure even cooking. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Chop the onion

Place 100 g of onion in the glass and chop 3 Sec./Speed 5.

Chop the lettuce

Place 100 g of lettuce in the glass and chop 3 Sec./Speed 4.

Serve

Serve the hot flutes accompanied by chopped lettuce, chopped onion, sour cream, grated cheese and sauce to taste. The Thermomix is not used in this step.
