Description

This Curly Fries Salad is a great alternative to classic salads and perfect for barbecue season or a casual party! The crispy Curly Fries meet fresh cucumber, onion and a creamy yogurt dressing with herbs. I especially like to make it when I need to be quick, because it is super easy to prepare. If you like it a little spicier, you can add a pinch of chili. The salad tastes both lukewarm and cold and is a real eye-catcher on every buffet.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 500 g French fries Curly Fries
  • 1 piece Cucumber(s)
  • 1 piece Onion(s)
  • 300 g Plain yogurt
  • 50 g Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 0.5 piece Lemon(s), juice of it
  • 0.5 bunch Chives
  • 0.5 bunch Parsley
  • 0.5 bunch Dill
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 piece Pickled cucumber(s)

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop herbs

Thermomix® Setting

0.5 bunch chives, 0.5 bunch parsley and 0.5 bunch dill in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Chop onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Put 1 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Push down with the spatula.

Prepare dressing

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Put 300 g plain yogurt, 50 g mayonnaise, 1 tbsp mustard, juice of 0.5 lemon, the chopped herbs, some garlic powder, some paprika powder, some salt and pepper in the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./speed 3.

Mix salad

Put 500 g Curly Fries (prepared according to package instructions in the oven or airfryer), 1 diced cucumber, the chopped onion and 3 diced pickled cucumbers in a large bowl. Add the dressing from the mixing bowl and mix everything carefully. Season with salt, pepper or some lemon juice if necessary.
