Description

This creamy chicken fricassee with chicken tenderloin, mushrooms and peas is quickly prepared in the Thermomix®. Refined with cream cheese and a splash of lemon, it is a high-protein and hearty main course. The dish for 3 servings is on the table in just 30 minutes. Ideal as an uncomplicated family meal or for lovers of classic, warm cuisine.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 400 g Chicken tenderloin
  • 400 ml Chicken stock
  • 200 g Mushrooms
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 150 g Frozen peas
  • 2 Stück Carrots
  • 1 EL Butter for frying
  • 1 EL Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 TL Xanthan
  • 0.125 TL Pepper
  • 1 Packung Shirataki rice

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Dice carrots, slice mushrooms and set aside together with the peas. Then cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Fry chicken

Melt about a tablespoon of butter in a large pan and fry the chicken for about 6-7 minutes over medium-high heat until it is no longer pink. In the meantime, prepare the chicken stock according to the package instructions.

Add chicken stock

Deglaze the chicken with the chicken stock and then add the vegetables from step 1 and the cream cheese to the mixing bowl.

Let simmer

Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes / 100°C / speed 1.

Thicken sauce

Scoop off a little sauce (about 2-3 tbsp) and put it in a bowl. Add the xanthan gum and stir with a whisk or, even better, a sauce whisk until you get a thick, even mixture.

Add sauce back to the mixing bowl

Pour the thickened sauce back into the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec. / speed 3 until the rest of the sauce has thickened.

Season

Season the chicken fricassee with a little fresh lemon juice and pepper and stir for 5 sec. / speed 3.

Prepare shirataki rice

Pour the shirataki rice through a kitchen sieve and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Then let it drain well and serve with the chicken fricassee.
