Description

Savory flatbread with apple and goat cheese is a vegetarian main course or finger food that is easily prepared with the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are flour, apples and goat cheese. Preparation takes a total of 75 minutes and yields 6 servings. Ideal as a hearty snack for parties, Mediterranean evenings or the winter season. Suitable for anyone looking for an uncomplicated and tasty meal.

  • 100 g Margarine
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 400 g Flour
  • 1 Päckchen Dry yeast
  • 1 TL Iodized salt
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 200 g Cooking cream
  • 2 Stück Apples
  • 200 g Goat cheese
  • 1 Bund Arugula
  • 2 EL Balsamic cream

Preparation (7 steps)

Melt margarine and heat milk

3 min/122°F/Speed 1, dann 2 min/99°F/Speed 1 50, 37

Place 100 g margarine in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 1. Add 250 ml milk and heat for 2 min./37°C/speed 1.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Place 400 g flour, 1 packet dry yeast, 1 tsp iodized salt and 1 tsp sugar in the mixing bowl. Add the melted margarine and the warmed milk and process for 2 min./knead setting into a smooth dough.

Let the dough rise

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, place in a bowl, cover with a slightly damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Roll out and top the dough

Divide the dough into 6 portions and roll out into thin flatbreads on a lightly floured work surface. Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper and spread with 200 g cooking cream.

Prepare topping

Quarter 2 apples, core and cut into thin slices. Cut 200 g goat cheese into slices.

Top and bake flatbreads

Distribute the apple slices and goat cheese slices on the flatbreads. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (convection: 200 °C). Bake the flatbreads in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

Garnish flatbreads

Clean the arugula and tear roughly. Sprinkle on the flatbreads. Decorate with 2 tbsp balsamic cream and serve.
