Description

These hazelnut cream cookies are a real treat! I often prepare them for breakfast or as an afternoon sweet treat. The recipe is very simple and quick, perfect when you want something delicious but don't have much time available. The texture is soft and the intense hazelnut flavor makes them irresistible. They keep well for a few days, but I doubt they will last that long! Try them, I'm sure you'll love them. Also ideal for a tasty snack or to offer to friends.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 280 g 00 Flour
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 80 g Hazelnut cream
  • 8 g Instant yeast for sweets
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 30 g Hazelnut cream

Preparation (10 steps)

Sift flour

Sift 280 g of 00 flour in the bowl and 10 Sec./Speed 1. Transfer the sifted flour to a bowl.

Mix yeast and vanilla

Add 8 g of instant yeast for sweets to the sifted flour in the bowl. Also add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix well with a fork.

Add egg and hazelnut cream

Add 1 egg and 80 g of hazelnut cream to the dry ingredients in the bowl.

Knead

Knead briefly first in the bowl and then on a lightly floured work surface to obtain a compact and smooth dough. 2 Min./Kneading Speed

Form balls

Detach 14 pieces of dough weighing approximately 25 g each. Form balls by shaping them with the palms of your hands.

Flatten balls

Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten them slightly with your hands.

Create indentation

With the help of the handle of a wooden spoon, create a small central indentation in each ball.

Bake in oven

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Melt hazelnut cream

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/122°F/Speed 1 50

Put 30 g of hazelnut cream in the bowl and 2 Min./50°C/Speed 1 melt.

Fill the cookies

When the cookies are cold, complete the cookies by adding the melted hazelnut cream to the central indentation with the help of a teaspoon.
