Description
This Thermomix® recipe for chocolate pumpkin seed pastry is ideal for the Christmas season and other festive occasions. The main ingredients are pumpkin seeds, chocolate, butter and cinnamon. The preparation takes about 90 minutes and yields a larger portion of cookies. The pastries are perfect as finger food, dessert or with coffee.

250 g Sugar

Vanilla sugar

1 TL Cinnamon

6 Stück Egg yolks

250 g Chopped chocolate
-
200 g Ground pumpkin seeds

250 g Flour
-
0.5 Baking powder

6 Stück Egg white snow
Preparation (6 steps)
Stir butter and sugar
Add 250 g butter, 250 g sugar and vanilla sugar to the mixing bowl and stir for 2 min./speed 3.
Add cinnamon and egg yolk
Add approx. 1 tsp cinnamon and 6 egg yolks and stir for 1 min./speed 3.
Add chocolate and pumpkin seeds
Add 250 g chopped chocolate and 200 g ground pumpkin seeds and stir for 30 sec./speed 3 reverse.
Mix flour and baking powder
Add 250 g flour and 1/2 baking powder and stir for 1 min./speed 3.
Fold in egg whites
Carefully fold 6 egg white snow into the dough.
Baking
Place the dough on a baking sheet and bake for about 1 hour at 180°C.
