Description

This rosemary chicken is a hearty main course with Mediterranean flavors. The chicken drumsticks are fried in the pan and then refined with garlic, leek, rosemary, white beans and blue cheese. The preparation takes about 65 minutes and is ideal for a hearty lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 0.5 kg Chicken drumsticks
  • 1.5 Stk. Garlic cloves
  • 1.5 Stg Leek
  • 200 g Canned white beans
  • 15 g Blue cheese
  • 1.5 EL Sour cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1.5 Sprigs of rosemary
  • 125 ml Apple cider

Preparation (4 steps)

Preheat oven and fry chicken

Preheat oven to 180 °C. Place chicken drumsticks in a large, ovenproof casserole dish and fry over high heat for about 10 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Fry the meat in a separate pan.

Prepare garlic and leek

Peel garlic. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid, select the fine slice. Place garlic in the WunderSlicer V2 and slice. Collect the cut material. Clean, wash and cut the leek into fine strips. Pluck and chop the rosemary needles.

Season chicken

Add rosemary, garlic and leek to the chicken, season with salt and pepper, mix everything and some.

Prepare sauce

Return the pot to the stove, crumble the blue cheese into it and stir in sour cream. Simmer for a few minutes, stirring, until the sauce is creamy. Serve hot - plain or with steamed leafy vegetables.
