Description

Delicious Baileys chocolate drops for Christmas and Advent season.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 300 Gramm Flour
  • 200 Gramm Butter
  • 100 Gramm Icing sugar
  • 1 TL Vanilla flavor
  • Rum flavor
  • 140 Gramm Butter
  • 2 EL Icing sugar
  • 80 Gramm dark chocolate
  • 50 ml Baileys

Preparation (10 steps)

Prepare shortcrust pastry

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add flour, butter, icing sugar, vanilla flavor and rum flavor to the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to a smooth dough.

Let the dough rest

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, shape into a ball, wrap in cling film and let rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Roll out and cut out the dough

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to about 3mm thick and cut out biscuits with a drop cutter.

Bake biscuits

Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (top/bottom heat) for 8-9 minutes until light.

Prepare Baileys cream

Add butter and icing sugar to the mixing bowl and beat until fluffy for 2 min./speed 3.

Melt chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 122°F

Put dark chocolate in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Stir in chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add melted chocolate to the butter-sugar mixture and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3.

Add Baileys

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add Baileys and stir in for 10 sec./speed 3. Add more Baileys to taste.

Cool cream

If the cream is too soft, put it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

Fill biscuits

Either fill the cream into a piping bag and pipe onto half of the biscuits or spread it on the biscuits with a knife. Place the remaining biscuits on top as a lid.
