  • 250 g Onions
  • 250 g Grated cheese (Gouda)
  • 200 g Diced bacon
  • 40 g Butter
  • 40 g Flour
  • 500 ml Milk
  • Salt

Chop onions

Add 250g of onions to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Add 40g of butter to the chopped onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add flour

Add 40g of flour to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 1 min./100°C/speed 1.

Deglaze with milk

Add 500ml of milk to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./90°C/speed 2. Leave the measuring cup in place.

Add cheese

Add 150g of grated cheese (Gouda) to the mixing bowl and stir in for 2 min./60°C/speed 2.

Season

Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and mix for 10 sec./speed 3.

Prepare cauliflower

Clean the cauliflower and divide into florets. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid and insert the fine slicing disc. Feed the cauliflower florets through the WunderSlicer V2 and collect the sliced pieces in a bowl.

Fry bacon

Fry 200g of diced bacon in a separate pan until crispy.

Mix cauliflower and bacon

Place the sliced cauliflower and the fried diced bacon in a casserole dish and mix.

Add sauce

Pour the sauce from the mixing bowl over the cauliflower and bacon in the casserole dish.

Gratinate

Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese (50g) over the casserole and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes until golden brown.
