Description

This tortelloni gratin is an absolute comfort food! I like to make it when I need to be quick and the whole family needs to be full. The combination of creamy sauce, hearty cooked ham and the delicious tortelloni is simply unbeatable. The carrots and tomatoes give the gratin a slight sweetness and a beautiful color. The melted cheese on top makes it irresistible. Perfect for a cozy evening or as a quick lunch. Can also be prepared very well!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 500 g Tortelloni
  • 200 g Cooked ham
  • 3 piece Carrot(s)
  • 1 piece Tomato(es)
  • 0.5 piece Onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 375 ml Cream
  • 200 g Processed cheese
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • Water
  • 200 g Cheese, grated

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Halve the onion and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Scrape down with the spatula.

Sauté vegetables

Cut the carrots into slices and the tomato into cubes. Add to the mixing bowl together with the onion and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add cream, tomato paste, vegetable broth and processed cheese to the mixing bowl and bring to the boil for 5 min./90°C/speed 2.

Thicken sauce

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Stir the cornstarch with a little water and add to the mixing bowl. Stir in for 1 min./100°C/speed 2.

Prepare cooked ham

Cut the cooked ham into cubes and set aside.

Mix casserole

Place the sauce, cooked ham and tortelloni with half of the grated cheese in a baking dish and mix well so that everything is evenly distributed. Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over the casserole.

Bake casserole

Bake in the oven at 220 °C for approx. 25 minutes on the middle rack.
