Description

This hearty potato and meatloaf casserole from the Thermomix® is a savory main course with potatoes, meatloaf, and cheese. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes about 60 minutes, with an active working time of approximately 20 minutes. The recipe is designed for 4 servings and is ideal for a filling family meal. The combination of potatoes and meatloaf makes this casserole particularly nutritious.

  • 800 g Potatoes, firm cooking
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 400 g Meatloaf
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 EL Clarified butter
  • 100 g Cheese, grated (e.g. Emmentaler or Gouda)
  • 4 Stück Eggs
  • 3 EL Sour cream
  • 1 EL Parsley, chopped (frozen)
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Prise Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel 800g potatoes and cut into small pieces.

Pre-cook potatoes

Place potato pieces, 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper in the mixing bowl and pre-cook for 5 min./Varoma/Reverse/Soft Stirring.

Chop onions

Place 1 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Fry meatloaf

Cut 400g meatloaf into cubes and fry in a pan with 1 tbsp clarified butter for 5 minutes. Add the chopped onions and sauté briefly.

Egg and sour cream mixture

Place 4 eggs, 3 tbsp sour cream, 1 tbsp chopped parsley, salt, and pepper in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 4.

Complete casserole

Place the pre-cooked potatoes, the fried meatloaf with onions, and the egg and sour cream mixture in a casserole dish and stir. Sprinkle with 100g grated cheese.

Bake casserole

Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for 15 minutes.
