Description

With this Thermomix® recipe for chicken fajita wraps, you can conjure up a delicious finger food main course in no time at all. The spice mixture of salt, paprika powder, cumin, pepper and coriander seeds gives the dish a special touch. In approx. 150 minutes, including 30 minutes of active work, 12 portions are created. Ideal for parties, as a quick snack or for pre-cooking for the whole family.

Ingredients (23 ingredients)

  • 3 EL Salt
  • 6 EL Paprika powder (sweet)
  • 3 TL Cumin (ground)
  • 1.5 TL Pepper
  • 1.5 TL Coriander seeds
  • 3 Prise Cinnamon
  • 1 TL Garlic granules
  • 3 EL Vegetable broth paste (homemade)
  • 150 ml Olive oil
  • 12 EL Balsamic vinegar
  • 3 Stück Pepper (red)
  • 3 Stück Pepper (yellow)
  • 3 Stück Pepper (green)
  • 6 Stück Red onions
  • 1500 g Chicken breast
  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 250 g Skyr
  • 300 g Sour cream
  • 1 Bund Chives
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 3 Stück Limes
  • 24 Stück Wraps

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare fajita marinade

Thermomix® Setting
10 Sekunden/Speed 5

Put 3 tbsp salt, 6 tbsp paprika powder (sweet), 3 tsp cumin (ground), 1.5 tsp pepper, 1.5 tsp coriander seeds, 3 pinches of cinnamon, 1 tsp garlic granules, 3 tbsp vegetable broth paste (homemade), 150 ml olive oil and 12 tbsp balsamic vinegar into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 seconds/speed 5.

Cut vegetables

Cut 3 red peppers, 3 yellow peppers and 3 green peppers into fine strips. Cut 6 red onions into half rings.

Cut and marinate chicken

2 Minuten/Linkslauf/Speed 1 Reverse

Cut 1500 g chicken breast into small strips. Put the sliced vegetables and the chicken into the mixing bowl and mix with the marinade. Mix for 2 minutes/reverse/speed 1.

Marinate

Leave the marinated ingredients covered in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, or overnight.

Cook chicken and vegetable pan

Thermomix® Setting
30-40 Minuten/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place the marinated ingredients in the Varoma container and cook in the Varoma for 30-40 minutes/Varoma/speed 1 until the chicken is cooked through. Check the cooking time and extend if necessary.

Prepare sour cream

5 Sekunden/Speed 8

Put 2 cloves of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 seconds/speed 8. Add 250 g Skyr, 300 g sour cream, 1 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp pepper and stir for 10 seconds/speed 3. Cut 1 bunch of chives into small pieces and mix in.

Stir sour cream

Clean the mixing bowl and stir the sour cream ingredients for 10 seconds/speed 3.

Serve

Quarter 3 limes. Serve the fajita pan with the sour cream, the lime wedges and 24 wraps.
