Description

These meatballs are a classic of Italian cuisine, perfect for a family lunch or a dinner with friends. The combination of ground meat and sausage makes them particularly tasty and juicy. I prepare them often, because they are easy and quick to make, and everyone always likes them! The crunchy breading, obtained with breadcrumbs, makes them irresistible. A tip: serve them with a side of baked potatoes or a mixed salad for a complete and tasty meal. Also ideal for children!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 300 g lean ground meat
  • 100 g sausages
  • 1 q.b. fine salt
  • 1 piece eggs
  • 50 ml milk
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp grated Grana cheese
  • 1 ciuffo chopped parsley
  • 1 q.b. seed oil for frying
  • 1 q.b. breadcrumbs for breading

Preparation (7 steps)

Preparation of the ingredients

In a large bowl, combine 300 g of lean ground meat, 100 g of coarsely crumbled sausage and a pinch of fine salt. Mix well with a fork.

Blend the ingredients

Add 1 egg, 50 ml of milk and 1 generous tablespoon of grated Grana cheese to the meat mixture. Mix well with a fork to blend the ingredients.

Flavor the dough

Add 1 sprig of finely chopped parsley to the mixture and mix vigorously to distribute it evenly.

Add the breadcrumbs

Add 50 g of breadcrumbs to the mixture and mix until you get a soft and homogeneous dough. If necessary, add more breadcrumbs to reach the desired consistency.

Form the meatballs

Form the meatballs with your hands, giving them a round or slightly flattened shape.

Bread the meatballs

Pour plenty of breadcrumbs into a bowl. Pass the meatballs in the breadcrumbs, making sure they are completely covered.

Fry the meatballs

Pour plenty of seed oil into a large frying pan and heat over medium heat. Fry the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes, turning them often, until they are golden brown and cooked inside.
