Description

This hearty puff pastry tart is an absolute hit at any party! With its crispy base and creamy sour cream topping, refined with mushrooms, bacon and onions, it is simply irresistible. The preparation is very simple and quick, so you can conjure up a delicious dish in no time. Perfect for a cozy evening with friends or as a savory snack in between. And the best thing: you can vary the tart as you wish and top it with your favorite ingredients. A true all-rounder that is always well received!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 4 Scheibe/n Puff pastry frozen
  • 1 container sour cream
  • 0.25 Pck. Cream cheese
  • 1 Zehe/n Garlic
  • 1 can Mushrooms (whole caps)
  • 1 Pck. Bacon (diced)
  • 1 piece Vegetable onion
  • 1 Kugel Mozzarella
  • Oregano
  • Rosemary

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare puff pastry

Let the puff pastry sheets thaw for about 7 minutes until they are soft and pliable. Then place the sheets on top of each other on the sides (preferably already on baking paper) and press them together to form a square.

Chop garlic

Put 1 clove of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed 7.

Prepare sour cream topping

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 1 cup of sour cream, 0.25 pack of cream cheese, the chopped garlic, salt, pepper, oregano and rosemary to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 seconds/speed 3.

Spread sour cream topping

Spread the sour cream topping on the prepared puff pastry sheets.

Sauté mushrooms and bacon

Halve 1 can of mushrooms (whole caps). Put 1 pack of diced bacon and the halved mushrooms in a pan and sauté briefly in a little fat until they are lightly browned.

Spread mushrooms and bacon

Spread the sautéed mushrooms and bacon cubes on the puff pastry covered with sour cream.

Cut and distribute onions

Peel 1 large vegetable onion, cut into rings that are not too fine and use them to cover the sheets.

Distribute mozzarella

Dice 1 ball of mozzarella and spread over the sheets.

Seasoning and Baking

Finally, sprinkle some rosemary and oregano on top. Bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 180°-150°C circulating air on a baking sheet lined with baking paper for approx. 15 minutes until the cheese has melted and the sheets are slightly crispy.
