Description

This hearty cauliflower ground meat vegetable pan is a real comfort food for the whole family! I especially like to make it in the fall when the cauliflower comes fresh from the field. The dish is super quick to prepare and tastes simply delicious. The ground meat is nicely browned and crumbly and the vegetables get a slight sweetness. The fiery sour cream provides that certain something. If you do not like it so spicy, you can of course use less Sambal Oelek. A great dish for the end of the day!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Cauliflower
  • 1 piece Zucchini
  • 1 piece Bell pepper (e.g. yellow)
  • 150 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 piece Onions
  • 6 Stiele Parsley
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 400 g Mixed ground meat
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 1 tsp Sambal Oelek

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Divide cauliflower into florets, halve zucchini lengthwise and cut into slices. Roughly dice bell pepper and halve cherry tomatoes. Peel onions and cut into rings. Wash parsley, shake dry and chop coarsely. Set everything aside.

Chop onions

Put onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Scrape down with the spatula.

Sauté onions

Add 3 tbsp oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Fry ground meat

Fry the ground meat in a separate large pan with a lid and some oil for approx. 5 minutes until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the pan and set aside.

Sauté vegetables

Add the prepared vegetables (cauliflower, zucchini, bell pepper, tomatoes) and the sautéed onions to the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 min./120°C/speed 1.

Simmer vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add 125 ml water to the mixing bowl, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 min./100°C/speed 1. Activate the reverse rotation.

Prepare sour cream

Mix 200 g sour cream, 1-2 tsp Sambal Oelek and salt in a bowl and season to taste. Set aside.

Add ground meat and parsley

2 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add the fried ground meat and the chopped parsley to the vegetables in the mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper and heat for 2 min./90°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Arrange the cauliflower-ground meat-vegetable pan on plates and serve with the fiery sour cream.
