Description

These homemade meatballs in onion sauce are a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect to enjoy with family or on a special occasion. The minced meat, combined with garlic, parsley and a touch of pepper, turns into tender and juicy meatballs. The onion sauce, slowly cooked with white wine and broth, gives it a sweet and aromatic touch that perfectly complements the meat. This dish is ideal for cold autumn and winter days, and can be accompanied with white rice, mashed potatoes or simply with a good piece of bread to dip in the delicious sauce. Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 1 kilogramo minced meat (beef-pork)
  • 2 dientes garlics
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 bunch chopped parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 piece flour
  • 1 piece oil for frying
  • 2 piece large onions
  • 200 mililitros white wine
  • 700 mililitros broth or water
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Preparation of the meat for the meatballs

In a large bowl, mix 1 kilogram of minced meat (beef-pork) with 2 cloves of chopped garlic, 1 egg, a handful of chopped parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Knead well with your hands until all the ingredients are well integrated. Cover the bowl with transparent film and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight, so that the flavors mix.

Form and flour the meatballs

Place flour in a deep dish. With a spoon, take portions of the meat mixture and form balls of the desired size. Pass each meatball through the flour, making sure they are well covered.

Fry the meatballs

Heat abundant oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the meatballs in batches, without piling them up, until they are golden brown on all sides. Remove the meatballs from the pan and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Set aside.

Chop the onion

Peel and cut 2 large onions into quarters. Introduce the onion into the Thermomix glass and program 3 Sec./Speed 5 to chop it finely.

Sauté the onion

Add a good stream of olive oil to the Thermomix glass together with the chopped onion. Program 8 Min./120°C/Speed 1 to sauté the onion until it is transparent and slightly golden.

Add the flour

Incorporate 1 tablespoon of flour into the Thermomix glass with the sautéed onion. Program 2 Min./120°C/Speed 1 to cook the flour and prevent the sauce from tasting raw.

Incorporate the white wine

Pour 200 milliliters of white wine into the Thermomix glass. Program 3 Min./Varoma/Speed 1 without the measuring cup so that the alcohol evaporates.

Add the broth and mash the sauce

5 min/212°F/Velocidad 1, 30 Seg./Velocidad 8 100

Add 700 milliliters of broth or water to the Thermomix glass. Program 5 Min./100°C/Speed 1. Once the time is up, mash the sauce by programming 30 Sec./Speed 8.

Cook the meatballs in the sauce

20 min/212°F/Giro a la izquierda/Velocidad cuchara 100 Reverse

Incorporate the fried meatballs into the Thermomix glass with the onion sauce. Program 20 Min./100°C/Reverse direction/Spoon speed. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more broth or water. Taste and correct salt and pepper if necessary.
