Description

This hummus is a delicious and versatile dip that is ideal as an appetizer or snack. It is quick and easy to prepare and can be served with various vegetable sticks or bread. The hummus is vegan, gluten-free and rich in proteins, making it a healthy choice. Perfect for parties or as a light snack after exercise.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 250 g Chickpeas
  • 25 ml Chickpea brine
  • 1 EL Lemon juice
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 1 EL Tahini
  • 3 Stück Garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 EL Paprika powder (sweet)
  • Olive oil

Preparation (5 steps)

Soak and cook chickpeas

Soak 250 g chickpeas in water overnight or for at least 8 hours. Then cook in salted water for about 1 hour until they are nice and soft.

Reduce chickpea brine

Put 25 ml chickpea brine (created during cooking) into the mixing bowl and simmer for 15 Min./100°C/level 1 without a measuring cup until it is thick.

Chop garlic

Put 3 garlic cloves into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 7.

Prepare hummus

30 sec/Speed 10

Put cooked chickpeas, chickpea brine, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp tahini, salt and pepper into the mixing bowl and puree for 30 sec./level 10.

Serve

Put hummus in a bowl and cover with 1 tbsp paprika powder (sweet) and olive oil.
