Description

Prepare a thin pizza with chorizo and mozzarella with the Thermomix®. This recipe for the Thermomix® uses wheat flour, durum wheat semolina, chorizo and mozzarella as the main ingredients. The preparation time is 70 minutes for 4 servings. Ideal as a hearty main course for the whole family or as a highlight at the next party.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 200 g Wheat flour Type 550
  • 50 g Durum wheat semolina
  • 0.25 Würfel Yeast
  • 160 ml Water, lukewarm
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 4 Stück Roma tomatoes
  • 1 TL Oregano, dried
  • 70 g Chorizo in one piece
  • 1 Kugel Buffalo mozzarella

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4, 2 min/Kneading speed, 1 min/Kneading speed

Put 200g wheat flour Type 550, 50g durum wheat semolina and 1 tsp salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4. Dissolve 10g yeast in 160ml lukewarm water and let rest for 5 min. Add the yeast mixture to the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min/kneading level. Add 2 tbsp olive oil and continue kneading for 1 min/kneading level.

Let the dough rise

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, wrap in cling film and leave to rise for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare tomatoes

Halve 4 Roma tomatoes and grate over a fine grater. Pour off the excess water through a fine sieve. Season the tomatoes with salt.

Fry chorizo

Fry 70g chorizo in a pan and cut into small pieces.

Top pizza

Roll out the dough on a floured board. Place the dough on a baking sheet brushed with olive oil. Spread the tomatoes thinly on the dough. Sprinkle with 1 tsp oregano. Spread the chorizo and the crushed mozzarella on the pizza.

Bake pizza

Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 250 °C top and bottom heat for about 10 minutes.
