Description

These chicken rolls are an explosion of flavor! Prepared with tender chicken breast, stuffed with cooked ham and stringy scamorza, they are perfect for a tasty and quick dinner. The scamorza, with its smoky flavor, goes perfectly with the delicacy of the chicken and the flavor of the ham. I love them because they are very simple to make and everyone always likes them. Ideal for a family lunch or dinner with friends, these rolls are a real success! A touch of lemon and bay leaf during cooking makes them even more fragrant and appetizing.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 500 g sliced chicken breast
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 150 g diced scamorza
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1 piece lemon
  • bay leaves
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • pepper
  • fine salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Chicken preparation

Take the slices of chicken breast and season them with fine salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Filling and rolling

Place a slice of cooked ham and a few pieces of scamorza on each slice of chicken. Roll the chicken slices on themselves, tightening well to seal the rolls.

Coating the rolls

Pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil into a plate. Pass each roll in the oil and then in the breadcrumbs, making sure they are well covered on all sides.

Cooking in the air fryer

Cut the lemon into thin slices. Arrange the rolls in the air fryer basket, alternating them with the lemon slices and bay leaves. Cook at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Plating

Transfer the rolls to a serving dish and decorate, as desired, with a few fresh bay leaves.
