Description

This Italian coffee cream slice is a festive dessert with espresso, mascarpone and ladyfingers, prepared in the Thermomix®. Refined with Marsala and cocoa, this dessert is ideal for coffee lovers. Preparation takes about 30 minutes, cooling time is 2 hours, yields 8 servings. Perfect as the crowning finale of a menu or for special occasions in winter.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 240 ml Espresso
  • 6 Stück Egg yolks
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 4 EL Marsala
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 300 g Ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder, unsweetened

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare espresso

Prepare 240 ml of espresso according to package instructions, pour into a bowl and let cool completely.

Beat egg yolks and sugar

Place 6 egg yolks and 150 g sugar in the mixing bowl and beat with the butterfly for 3 min./speed 4 until creamy.

Mix in Marsala

Add 4 tablespoons of Marsala and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3.

Fold in mascarpone

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/keine/Speed 3

Add 500 g mascarpone and stir in for 30 sec./speed 3. Then transfer the cream to a bowl and set aside.

Soak and layer ladyfingers

Have a baking dish (approx. 25 x 20 x 5 cm) ready. Briefly dip the ladyfingers individually into the cooled espresso and cover the bottom of the baking dish with them. Spread with a layer of cream. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used up. The last layer should be cream.

Cool and dust

Cover the baking dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Before serving, dust with unsweetened cocoa powder.
