  • 600 g Pork (from the topside or neck)
  • 100 ml Olive oil
  • 2 EL Gyro seasoning
  • 2 TL Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 TL Garlic powder
  • 0.5 TL Oregano
  • 0.5 TL Thyme
  • 0.5 TL Rosemary
  • 0.5 TL Marjoram
  • 0.5 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 0.25 TL Red bell pepper
  • 1 Stück Yellow bell pepper
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Stück Grated cheese (e.g. Gouda or Mozzarella)
  • 150 g geriebener Käse (z.B. Gouda oder Mozzarella)

Preparation (11 steps)

Prepare marinade

Thermomix® Setting

Add 100g olive oil, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tsp gyro seasoning, 1 tsp sweet paprika powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/2 tsp thyme, 1/2 tsp rosemary, 1/2 tsp marjoram, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper to the mixing bowl and mix for 15 sec/speed 3.

Transfer marinade

Transfer the prepared marinade from the mixing bowl to a bowl and set aside.

Prepare vegetables

Cut 1 red bell pepper, 1 yellow bell pepper and 1 onion into coarse pieces and add to the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec/speed 4.

Sauté vegetables

Remove the chopped vegetables from the mixing bowl and set aside.

Prepare meat

Cut 600g pork (from the topside or neck) into thin slices and add to the bowl with the marinade. Mix well so that all pieces of meat are covered with marinade.

Fry meat

Fry the marinated meat in portions in a separate pan until golden brown.

Prepare Gyro mixture

Add the fried meat and the chopped vegetables to the mixing bowl. Cook for 10 min/100°C/speed 1 reverse blade.

Add cheese

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/140°F/Speed 1 140°F Reverse

Add 150g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda or Mozzarella) to the Gyro mixture in the mixing bowl and melt for 2 min/60°C/speed 1 reverse blade.

Spread Gyro on sheet

Remove the finished sheet pan gyro from the mixing bowl and spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Bake

Bake the gyro in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.

Serve

Remove the Keto Sheet Pan Gyro from the oven and serve. It goes well with tzatziki or a salad.
