Description

These homemade churros are a real treat for any time of day. The recipe is simple and quick, perfect for preparing a special breakfast or a delicious snack. The dough is made in the blink of an eye, and the result is churros that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. An irresistible bite! Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 1.5 litro water
  • 360 gramos flour
  • 1 cucharilla salt
  • 1 piece sunflower oil
  • 1 piece sugar

Boil the water with salt

Pour 1.5 liters of water and 1 teaspoon of salt into the Thermomix bowl. Program 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1 to bring the water to a boil.

Incorporate the flour

Add 360 grams of flour to the boiling water in the Thermomix bowl. Program 20 Sek./Stufe 4 to mix the ingredients.

Form the dough

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Kneading speed

Program 1 Min./Knetstufe to knead the dough until it is homogeneous. If necessary, use the spatula to lower the dough from the walls of the bowl.

Prepare the pastry bag

Pour the dough into a pastry bag with a star nozzle. Make sure to eliminate air pockets to prevent the churros from exploding when frying.

Fry the churros

Heat plenty of sunflower oil in a frying pan over high heat. With the pastry bag, pour the dough into the hot oil, forming the churros to the desired size. Fry until golden brown on all sides, being careful not to stick.

Serve and sprinkle sugar

Remove the churros from the oil and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess grease. Serve immediately on a plate and sprinkle with sugar to taste.
