Description

This autumnal Bundt cake with apple and pear is a moist cake that is quick to prepare in the Thermomix®. Butter, sugar, flour and eggs form the basis for this festive cake classic. The total preparation time is 90 minutes, the active working time about 30 minutes. Ideal for the autumn coffee table or as a dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients (17 ingredients)

  • 250 g Butter
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Päckchen Baking powder
  • 1 Stück sour Apple
  • 1 Stück Pear
  • 100 g chopped Hazelnuts
  • 120 g chopped Almonds
  • Lemon zest
  • 1 TL Cinnamon
  • 1 TL Nutmeg
  • 1 TL Cloves
  • 1 Msp. Cardamom
  • 1 Msp. Ginger
  • Rum

Preparation (5 steps)

Beat butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy

Put 250 g butter, 250 g sugar and 3 eggs into the mixing bowl and beat until fluffy for 3 min./speed 4.

Add apple, pear, nuts, spices and lemon zest

Add 1 sour apple, 1 pear, 100 g chopped hazelnuts, 120 g chopped almonds, grated zest of one lemon, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp cloves, 1 pinch of cardamom, 1 pinch of ginger and some rum and stir in for 1 min./reverse/speed 2.

Mix and fold in flour and baking powder

Mix 250 g flour and 1 packet of baking powder, add to the mixing bowl and stir in for 30 sec./speed 3.

Pour batter into Bundt cake pan and bake

Pour the batter into a greased Bundt cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 45 minutes.

Decorate Bundt cake

Cover the cooled Bundt cake with chocolate glaze or just sprinkle with powdered sugar.
