Description

This hearty potato Brussels sprouts casserole with ground meat, prepared in the Thermomix®, is the perfect main course for cold autumn and winter days. The main ingredients are potatoes, Brussels sprouts and ground beef. With a preparation time of 60 minutes (30 minutes working time) you get 4 servings. Ideal as a filling family meal.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 600 g Potatoes
  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 400 g Ground beef
  • 2 EL Butter
  • 2 EL Flour
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 250 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 EL chopped Parsley
  • 100 g grated Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Nutmeg

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare potatoes and Brussels sprouts

Peel 600g potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut out the stalk from the Brussels sprouts and remove the outer leaves.

Cook potatoes and Brussels sprouts

Add 1000ml water to the mixing bowl, insert the steamer basket. Place potatoes in the steamer basket and cook for 10 min./Varoma/speed 1. Add 500g Brussels sprouts and cook for another 5 min./Varoma/speed 1.

Chop onions

Put 1 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Prepare ground meat sauce

Brown the ground meat in a separate pan with 2 tbsp butter. Add the chopped onions and fry with them. Sprinkle 2 tbsp flour over it and fry briefly. Add 250 ml milk and 250 ml vegetable broth to the pan, bring to a boil and stir in 1 tbsp chopped parsley. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Prepare and bake casserole

30 min/356°F/Ober- und Unterhitze 356°F

Place potatoes, Brussels sprouts and ground meat sauce in a greased casserole dish and mix. Sprinkle with 100 g grated cheese. Preheat oven to 180°C top and bottom heat and bake the casserole for 30 minutes.
