Description

This fresh summer fruit salad is an explosion of flavors and colors! Perfect for ending a light meal or as a refreshing snack on hot summer days. Melon, strawberries, banana, kiwi, mango and blueberries come together in a riot of natural sweetness, enhanced by orange and lemon juice and a crunchy touch of poppy seeds. Preparing it is child's play with our faithful Thermomix®, and the result is a real treat for the palate. Ideal for those looking for a light, vegan and gluten-free dessert. A tip? Prepare it in advance and let it rest in the refrigerator to enhance the flavors!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 piece melon
  • 200 g strawberries
  • 1 piece bananas
  • 1 piece kiwi
  • 1 piece mango
  • 100 g blueberries
  • 1 piece oranges _the juice_
  • 0.5 piece lemons _the juice_
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 30 g sugar
  • mint _or marjoram_

Preparation (10 steps)

Melon preparation

Cut the melon in half, remove the internal seeds, slice it and remove the peel. Cut the pulp into cubes and set aside.

Strawberry preparation

Remove the part with the stalk from the strawberries and then divide them into smaller parts. Set aside.

Banana preparation

Slice the banana into half slices. Set aside.

Kiwi preparation

Peel the kiwi and make cubes. Set aside.

Mango preparation

Divide the mango in two along the pit, then cut the pulp into a grid and remove it with a spoon. Set aside.

Squeezing the citrus fruits

Squeeze the orange juice into a bowl and add the juice of half a lemon. Set aside.

Dressing preparation

Add the poppy seeds to the juices and mix carefully in the Thermomix bowl. Set 10 Sec./Stufe 2 to mix the ingredients well.

Fruit union

In a large bowl, combine melon, strawberries, banana, kiwi, mango and finally blueberries. Mix gently so as not to ruin the fruit.

Dressing and resting

Sprinkle the fruit with sugar and season with the citrus mixture prepared in the Thermomix. Mix gently to keep the fruit intact. Leave to flavour for at least 20 minutes in the refrigerator.

Service

Serve the fruit salad in single-portion bowls, decorating with fresh mint or marjoram leaves.
